Treasures of Australia - Gold Nuggets
The Treasures of Australia Gold Nuggets coin was released tonight with a limit of 2 per person. Has anyone else ordered any?
I ended up ordering 2, hopefully the premium will jump like it has in the past. I plan on flipping one once the price rises and keeping one for myself. http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogu...cket-coin.aspx EDIT: The coin seems to be selling at a rate of 100 per hour, and the mint is already down to 232 left. |

They look nice but are a little too pricey for my blood.I'll stick with one or the other, but, not the two mixed.

Says UNAVAILABLE ONLINE
:( What a nutty friggen "coin"! I'd buy one if I knew how now! |
Re: Treasures of Australia - Gold Nuggets
so now it's one per collector. You have to go in there to buy one? I can do that. Not sure I want one though.
edit.. gonna add some more. I'm not sure about the style of these special coins. I did talk to my self for a long time about the transformer ones though. I was confident they had some flip potential. |
Re: Treasures of Australia - Gold Nuggets
let the rationing begin :signs1:
the locket coins are a sure sell out! I guess we have to wait/hope on this side of the globe for dealer stock. sucks because I already have the other ones so how the heck am supposed to continue with the set. |
Re: Treasures of Australia - Gold Nuggets
they are always doing the locket thing in one form or another.
$2500 for 1oz of gold is over the top but the mintage is 1000 so there is bound to be some interest. The best gold coins to buy from Australia IMHO come from the Royal Australia mint and are generally limited to 1500 plus only cost a fraction as they are generally 1/10 oz coins. They sell out overnight and end up selling 50% more on Ebay a week or two later. http://mintissue.ramint.gov.au/minti...hop_browse.asp |
Re: Treasures of Australia - Gold Nuggets
I got the notice via email on the 28th and the website said it is sold out so my best guess is that they sold out within a day. You could still find it online at other places but the price on these wont be cheap as they are selling at the mint for about $135-140
Get them while they last. These could be hotter than sapphires |
